This is the first realistic scene I painted in 1975. Prior to this, most of my paintings were geometric designs. My art teacher, Dorothy Appel convinced me to try something other than shapes. This was based on a picture in a travel brochure, somewhere in Australia. I still have this painting in my permanent collection.
