Alpine Flowers

These is a long time span with no pictures. I painted on an off since the 1980s, but do not have digital images of these paintings. I hope to scan them some day and include them in this blog. This picture was inspired from a travel brochure picture, somewhere in Switzerland or Austria. The original was bartered for my California Closet.

Hello Sandy,

I just took time to look at all your compositions. There is something in your style that is very appealing.

They say "art is in the eye of the beholder", I like what I see. A coffee table book with large color prints (and notations),of all your works, would be fun to sit and stare at and absorb. You do nicely with colorful scenes. I like the pieces with the colorful row boats and others.I also like the orange phase piece with the singular row boat at sunset.

Anyway-I tend to be an artsy farsty person and I stop and examine the blog pages of people who have a creative flair in the art forms/mediums.

You are also quite prolific! So many works! Are you making your living via painting?

Very nice work. Stay with it!

Anthony
